basis;
School of Business and Management
Post: Lecturers / Senior Lecturers
1. Insurance and Pensions Management
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work and be
able
to teach at least
three of the listed courses;
· Insurance and
Pensions Business practice
· Underwriting Management
· Liability Insurance
· Health Insurance
Qualifications
· First Degree in Insurance
and
Pensions Management (credit or better).
· Master’s Degree in Insurance and
Pensions Management.
· PhD in
the relevant field.
· At least five
(5) years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary level
2. Purchasing
and Supply Chain
Management
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate
and postgraduate students’ research work
and be able
to teach at least three
of the listed courses;
· Purchasing Principles and
Procurement Methods
· Standard Bidding Documents
· Logistics and Incoterms
· Productivity and Quality Management
Qualifications
· First Degree in Purchasing and
Supply (Credit or better).
· Master’s Degree
in Purchasing
and Supply.
· PhD in Procurement Management.
· At least
five
(5) years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary level
School of Law
1. Law Lecturers / Senior
Lecturers
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate
and postgraduate students’ research
work and be able to teach
courses under the Bachelor of Law Programme. Qualifications
· First
Degree in Law (Credit or better).
· Master’s Degree
in Law.
· PhD in Law.
· At least
five
(5) years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary level
Summary
of Job Responsibilities
· Develop and improve course outlines and teaching materials for
the assigned courses.
· Carry out research and publish materials
· Prepare lesson plans at the
start
of each semester
for the assigned courses.
