The National Institute of Public Administration [NIPA] is a
statutory body established under the Act of Parliament No. 15 of 1998. NIPA now
seeks the services of highly motivated individuals to join its team of skilled
professionals.
Applications are now invited for the Full-time Academic and
Non-Academic positions as follows:
POSITION: DIRECTOR, MANAGEMENT STUDIES DIVISION (1)
REPORTS TO: DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Job Purpose:
To direct, coordinate supervise and provide Academic and
Administrative services to ensure effective delivery of training and learning
services to the clients of the Institute.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Grade
12 University entrant.
- BA/BSc
Degree in Public Administration or Management Science or any other
relevant field, preferably with merit.
- Masters
degree in Public Administration or Management Science or any other
relevant Field.
- A PhD
degree in Public Administration, Management Science or any other relevant
field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum
of 10 years experience in a similar position.
- Evidence
of publications
- Excellent
oral and written communication skills.
- Ability
to produce complex or highly technical reports.
- Analytical
skills
- Computation/numerical
skills.
- Problem
solving skills.
- Decision
making skills
- Ability
to set strategic goals and objectives to guide the administration of a
directorate.
